Phil Hutchinson

Phil has been a successful and highly respected Headteacher of three secondary schools in London and the south-east, leading all three to their highest examination results ever during his time there. One of his schools went from being heavily undersubscribed to heavily oversubscribed and another increased its share of the local market from 12 to 30%. His last school was one of the pioneers of vertical tutoring, which was highly commended by Ofsted. Phil is currently leading one of his former schools through a new school building scheme. He brings to the team a depth of knowledge of school governance, senior management and personalised learning. His opinion is widely sought and published by the national and educational press and his opinions on such diverse matters as school meals and school uniform have been sought by the press as far away as Finland and The Czech Republic.
